Welcome to Leather Tsuba.

I didn't like the plastic tsuba that were given to me in my bokken purchases. I began by making one Leather Tsuba for myself. Other people in my dojo saw it and asked me to make them one also. I did. I couldn't leave things alone so I tried to carve designs on them and eventually they became more elaborate.

I do believe what I make by hand is a superior tsuba. I enjoy every stitch of it and have pride in not taking any shortcuts in producing Leather tsuba for bokuto and shinai. I do not rush my process.

I offer plain and simple tsuba at affordable cost and as well as custom design tsuba. For the time I put into making each Leather Tsuba, I could charge more, but people deserve good, quality things at affordable prices.

Imagine the cost of a broken knuckle.....?
